The position will provide information security related support for all business units and will be heavily involved in the compliance efforts related to SBOPX and HIPAA. The position's duties will include (but will not be limited to): Ensure corporate governance and HIPAA compliance through implementation of appropriate policies, procedures and systems. Establish security change board policies and conduct monthly meetings. Identify compliance gaps and coordinate remediation efforts. Review logfiles/IDS and document appropriate escalation procedures. Prepare risk assessments on remote sites to ensure compliance to published policies. Handle security incident reporting and conduct regular CIRT meetings. Coordinate Security Awareness Training. Day-to-Day management of security event management systems. Conduct regular vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation efforts on internal and external assets. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and two-three years of information security experience OR equivalent combination of education/experience. Prefer 6+ years hands on experience in hybrid windows/Linux(UNIX) environment specifically focused on information security. Experience with basic network protocols and security tools to include nessus, nmap, snort, Cisco IDS.
