Senior Sales Engineer - Chicago 

Well established Security Company is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to 
work out of their Chicago office. The position will be 40% pre-sales and will 
entail working closely with customers to achieve satisfaction while pushing 
towards renewals. The position is 50% hunting - acquiring new business through 
presentations/50% servicing - making sure all clients are happy with client 
products. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background and a 
successful track record as a Sales Engineer in the Security and/or Network 
arenas. This position will carry 60% travel and covers the entire Upper Midwest 
Region. The SE will be supporting one Account Executive


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Key requirements are communication skills and good business sense: you should 
be able to communicate at an executive level and have a polished, business-like 
demeanor as well as a background delivering strong presentations for clients. 
Key technical skills include a strong understanding of network design(how to 
understand large enterprise networks, recognize security controls that are in 
place, and create a centralized logging mechanism), expertise with firewalls, 
protocols, current security tools, and an ability to follow through. Expertise 
in Linux and IDS's are highly desired.
