Lead Spyware Analyst
Are you interested in radically improving the security of Microsoft products?
We are embarking on a journey into the design and development of antivirus (AV)
technologies. We are looking for Antivirus development engineers who are
interested in working in a fast paced working environment. This position will
work in an AV security response team to analyze virus, adware, spyware samples,
create write-ups, develop infection cleaning tools and participate in security
research. This position will be required to perform well under stress in virus
emergency response situations. Great passion about his/her work and being able
to work well in a multifunctional team are important factors for consideration.
Good communication skills are required. Candidates should have BS or MS in
Computer Science or equivalent.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of security concepts and technologies is a must, including but not
limited to Firewall, IDS and vulnerability assessment products and assembly
code. Candidates should be well-versed in various aspects and components of
security technology and infrastructure, including DMZs, TCP/IP, cryptography,
and SSL. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with individuals at
all levels within an organization are required. Preference will be given to
candidates with significant in depth knowledge of anti-virus technologies and
their security implications. The position will require cross group
communication to work with other product teams within Microsoft on developing
security response solutions.
