As a key member of the Security Architecture and PMO team, the Sr. Security 
Architect Engineer will work with and support the security professionals within 
the Information Security organization.  He/she will be responsible for 
providing architecture and technical security leadership in support of the 
programs and projects and ensure that the solutions are in line with the 
corporation’s enterprise security objectives.  This position requires the 
ability to deal with a wide range of technical challenges.  The candidate will 
be responsible for capturing and satisfying security designs that balance 
business and a policy requirements, adhere to the appropriate risk based 
security model. The incumbent will develop and propose engineering designs 
which will be leveraged to ensure the security programs and strategies deliver 
capabilities and services as prescribed and define the integration of various 
security components into an overall systems design. She/He will collaborate wi
 th business owners, stakeholders and corporate groups to ensure that the 
security program is integrated into the organization’s Enterprise 
Architecture. Candidate will actively participate and represent the security 
organization as a member of the Global Infrastructure Senior Engineering Team 
(SET). In coordination with the SET, he/she will be responsible for integrating 
the security posture within products, applications, technologies, services and 
standards. Within the Information Security organization, the incumbent will be 
expected to develop architecture documentation in support of all projects, lead 
and/or guide technology analysis and evaluations  will be a member of the 
Corporation’s Security Core team  work with the Enterprise Architecture 
group to develop security requirements for Service Oriented Architecture and 
Web Services.
        

Primary Activities      Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
Represent the Information Security organization by liasioning with business and 
corporate level Senior Engineering teams, technical and architecture governance 
committees.  Within the Information Security team, communicate and document 
business requirements, present technical and architecture configurations, 
designs and recommendations to committees programs and projects.  Assist 
security leaders in building out projects and programs supporting all facets of 
the security organization.  Coordinate and report on critical security issues.  
Gather, organize and communicate requirements working specifically with the 
application development community. Develop and maintain a process for 
effectively communicating modifications to information security policies, 
standards and processes. Compile and obtain sample evaluations for Standard 
Operating Procedures.
Coordination with security team to develop security architecture and technology 
strategy, establishing  security R&D directions
$100-120K + Bonus




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Must have very strong technical and architecture skills within the information 
Security area. Must have proven and demonstrated leadership qualities including 
the ability to collaborate with various groups, fostering and creating a common 
understanding regarding the present and future state of security architecture 
across technical and managerial levels. Experience with integration of security 
services including authentication, authorization, encryption and audit 
capabilities as well as environmental integrity as part of an overall system 
design. Polished and professional oral and written skills.  Experienced 
facilitator and briefer.
Knowledge of encryption technology, digital signing, PKI, VPN, IPSec, SSL, and 
Single Sign-On approaches.
Education: BS in Computer Science or related degree. In addition to a strong 
security background it is desirable to have a working knowledge of application 
development focused specifically on security issues within the J2EE and .Net 
environments, Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services and Event Driven 
Architecture.

8-10 years overall Information Systems and security architecture experience
