Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Seattle, Washington, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Amazon.com seeks uniquely skilled and highly passionate Information Security
Software Engineers. Qualified candidates are proficient in the disciplines of
both Software Engineering and Security Engineering, but are not limited to
where they intersect. They also have: demonstrated mastery of Java and C/C++ in
developing distributed applications experience auditing sizeable source code
bases for vulnerability experience with AAA-related technologies (Kerberos,
PKI, etc.) in large-scale distributed and/or grid computing environments and a
solid understanding of XML-related technologies (SOAP, WSDL, XML Encryption,
etc.). These positions also participate in the setting of enterprise security
policy, and share responsibility for disseminating information security
principles & practices into the fabric of a fast-moving enterprise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is
required a Master's degree is preferred. Candidates should have at least 5-7
years' of experience in the relevant fields, plus outstanding interpersonal and
communication skills.
