Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Washington , District of Columbia, US
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 06/24/2005
Security Administrator
This individual will be the security administrator for the system
administration team charged with operating and maintaining a geographically
dispersed mission critical system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required skills and experience include:
• Information technology professional with 7-10 years of experience.
• 3-5 years in support of mission critical IT systems supporting 2000+
user environments for the federal government.
• Comprehensive hands-on knowledge Information Security Technologies
including: Netscreen and CheckPoint Firewalls vulnerability scanners and
systems hardening.
• Knowledge of Security management in Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Broad technical background with a focus on information security.
• Ability to work as a team member charged with providing all technical
support to a large eGov initiative in a 24x7 operational environment.
Desired skills and experience include:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Experience supporting 24x7 operations.
• Federal C&A process.
