Position: Security Consultant
Location: Austin, Texas, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 06/25/2005
Leads cross-functional teams that perform information security reviews and
audits and review designs for information security issues.
· Acts as a subject matter expert and local leader for information
security direction, training and guidance for less experienced information
security team members.
· Works independently in establishing workload and direction.
· Instructs, directs, mentors, assigns and oversees work of less senior
engineers.
· Developing and establishing global security standards and processes.
Significant experience in identifying and utilizing a global risk-based
management model.
· Expert knowledge and application of systems and network security
practices.
· Familiarity with information security technologies and issues on
multiple platforms.
· Relies on some guidance, but mostly on experience and judgment to
select methods and techniques for developing solutions.
· Work is broadly defined
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
10+ years of professional experience (8 years directly related to I/T or
functional area) or equivalent combination of education/experience.BS/BA degree
in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related
discipline. Preferred: CISSP, GIAC, SSCP or ICSE
