Location:       Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, US

The company develops security encryption software and is the worldwide de facto 
standard to protect the data on mobile devices. To support our growth, we are 
looking for Account Executives to work at a regional office or from their home 
within or near a major business market. The objective of each territory is to 
acquire new clients for our security software.
The Account Executive is responsible for achieving predictable and reliable 
revenue performance targets through the aggressive and detailed management of 
the sales process and a sales pipeline. The compensation plan is $200,000 at 
quota with a base of $80,000.

The role of the Account Executive is to:

    * Identify and qualify potential opportunities within a specific list of 
targeted account opportunities
    * advance the sales process through the rigorous application of the 
Customer Centric Selling method of sales effectiveness, including the specific 
articulation of Pointsec’s solutions and advantage
    * work with Sales Engineering and the Sales Vice President to close deals



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
The Account Executive must have:

    * at least five years of experience selling $200K-plus software and 
professional services solutions to top executives at Fortune 1000 companies 
(ideal candidate will already possess some relationship with these contacts)
    * demonstrable record of maintaining a high volume, ruthlessly qualified 
pipeline of opportunities that yielded reliable and predictable quarter over 
quarter performance—and the ability to easily discuss the metrics of such 
a pipeline in business terms
    * a deep understanding of the language and business issues of one or more 
vertical market segment
    * creativity, intelligence, strong competitive drive, a business leader 
mindset and a tolerance for ambiguity
    * solid experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
required, plus knowledge and use of sales force automation software
    * excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and the desire 
to promote and sell products and service to decision makers
    * ability to communicate and cooperate in a team sales environment
    * superior writing skills
    * excellent problem solving abilities and detail orientation, and a 
demonstrated background of continuous learning
    * Minimum, a BA or BS degree
