Position: Sales Engineer
Location: DC, District of Columbia, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 06/16/2005
The company is the leader in stopping information leaks. They delivered the
first Information Leak Prevention (ILP) solution to not only monitor how
sensitive information is distributed across an organization's network, but to
accurately quarantine private and confidential data from unauthorized
distribution. The company also provides the only solution that prevents
information leaks across the primary channels for business communication,
including external and internal e-mail, the Web, fax and printers.
The compensation plan is targeted at $120-140,000 with a base of $100-125,000
with stock options.
The responsibilities are:
Assist sales team in closing sales opportunities by fielding technical questions
Manage and perform risk assessments
Evaluate and architect information security deployment plans
Implement Vidius PortAuthority in a variety of networking environments
Provide technical support as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
CISSP, Symantec Certified Security Practitioner, Checkpoint Certified Security
Expert, or Cisco Certified Security Professional preferred
5 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
2 years of experience focused on information security
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service
