Internet Security Systems (ISS) is the trusted expert to the Fortune Global 500
and world governments, providing products and services that guarantee
protection against Internet threats. Proventia is the world’s first and
only unified enterprise security architecture, which protects the entire
infrastructure, from the perimeter to the core. We are adding to our team that
supports Site Protector, which is the front end software that allows clients to
manage Proventia products and services protecting the enterprise.
Must possess system design skills, strong programming skills and be a team
player.
Responsibilities -Demonstrable experience in commercial software development
-Solid programming skills on Windows and Unix platforms -Experience in
networking and communication -Experience in computer / information security
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Qualifications -At least 6-8 years of commercial software development
experience -At least 5 years of programming experience in Java, including
Swing-At least 2 years of system programming experience in C++ on Microsoft
platform -Demonstrable experience in product design and architectural aspects
-Demonstrable experience with J2EE and/or .Net -SQL database experience
desirable -Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with development
team and other groups -Understanding and appreciation of software engineering
principles and practices -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Self-motivated and driven
