Application Security Consultant Engagement Lead
The Engagement Lead has expertise in multiple technical areas, with specialties
in one or more areas of security. They are considered an expert in their
specialties, and often write articles, perform training, or speak as an
industry expert. They draw upon their expertise in multiple areas (i.e. .NET,
C#, Java) and puts together issues both when designing and when troubleshooting
the most complex issues. The Engagement Lead has wide experience in many
industries, and with many different types of clients. The Engagement Lead has
extensive industry-respected certifications and is at the cutting edge of their
technologies. They have demonstrated excellent communication skills by
delivering technical information to the highest level of client management.
They have a proven ability to develop, build, and maintain technical teams.
The Engagement Lead is able to lead teams in the completion of complex
engagement tasks or solutions, and can be responsible for multiple project
deliverables at any given time. They are responsible for consultant
development, and mentoring computer security consultants in customer handling
skills, as well as providing in-depth training for computer security
consultants.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Specific Requirements:
Must be able to accurately forecast consultant availability to business
development
Must have proven experience in conducting effective employee performance review
program
Must be able to lead multiple teams of diverse, highly technical computer
security consultants
Be able to understand and support business development requests for service
Manage customer's expectations to ensure high and measurable satisfaction
Manage employee/team schedule, and communicate schedule to entire team
Encourage and facilitate team communication and collaboration
Enthusiastically communicate corporate vision, directions and values
Become the champion defender of consultant morale
Identify areas within the team processes/standards/guidelines that can be
created/improved upon
Ensure work is delegated to team members best-suited and interested in project
work
Create opportunities for team to engage in team building exercises
Possess excellent client facing skills
Possess excellent engineer facing skills
Must thrive in small company atmosphere and be driven to show big wins for
Must be able to point to past successes in building highly effective teams of
computer security consultants
Acts as project manager to manage the delivery of complex security solutions
Understanding of operating system and application security configuration and
best practices
Familiarity with development languages and secure code techniques
Experience in Application Penetration Testing
Knowledge of available Information Security resources, common security issues,
risks and means of alleviating them
