Position:       Information Assurance Engineer
Location:       McLean, Virginia, US
Type:           Permanent F/T
Closing Date:   05/28/2005

Information Assurance Architect/Technical Lead for the Defense Enterprise 
Solutions (DES) Communications and Network Solutions (C&NS) division. Provide 
information assurance technical leadership for all new business and development 
activities. Provide technical leadership in all IA areas including 
requirements, vulnerability assessments, security policies, disaster recovery 
plans, continuity of operations (COOP), intrusion detection systems, 
certification & accreditation, DITSCAP, DCID 6/3, and training. Be able to 
design a security architecture that will successfully defend a computer 
network.Provide technical guidance to all DES/C&NS information assurance 
activities.Participate in the Northrop Grumman IT Information Assurance Working 
Group. DoD Secret Clearance required, Top Secret preferred.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Education: Bachelor's degree in technical field (CS or engineering degree 
preferred) or equivalent experience Minimum Experience: 5 years in information 
assurance. Familiar with all aspects of information assurance. Demonstrated 
ability in developing security architectures, especially with US Government 
customers. Hands on experience with DITSCAP. Previous IA new business 
development background desired. IA certifications such as CISSP or CISA 
desired. Excellent writing and speaking skills required. DoD Secret Clearance 
required, Top Secret preferred.
