Position: Developer
Location: Broomfield, Colorado, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 05/27/2005
As an integral part of this world-class Level3 Security Engineering team, you
will be responsible for evaluating, designing, developing and deploying
security solutions for the Level 3 global production data and voice networks
including Intrusion Detection, Exposure Analysis, Rogue, Inventory and Auditing
systems for highly distributed networks. We require 3+ years of experience
working with C, and/or C++.
Essential Functions: Evaluate commercial security products for effectiveness,
design and develop in-house security solutions in C, and/or C++ that either
modify commercial security products or are standalone solutions, maintain
deployed security infrastructure, evaluate products and services for security
concerns.
Marginal Functions: Maintain the Level 3 Security Engineering lab environments.
Minimum Level of Experience: Bachelor Degree
Fields of Study: Computer Science
Additional Specialized Coursework considered a bonus: Network Security, C, PERL
Programming, TCP/IP Security, routing.
Required Knowledge and Skills: C and Perl programming experience, and UNIX
experience.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Security engineering
