Actual Job Title: Territory Manager - Client Policy Manager

Job Summary:
Overlay sales position responsible for driving the sale of desktop security 
product (Client Policy Manager-CPM) in a specified Territory.  Proactively work 
with respective Websense sales representatives including Inside CPM 
representatives and VAR partners to successfully grow CPM sales with existing 
and new Websense customers.

Essential Functions:
- Meet CPM revenue target for Central Sales region.
- Develop a target account list of existing Websense customers with good 
potential for upgrading to CPM.  Develop strategy with the responsively 
salesperspon and work the opportunity to successful close.
- Work with internal marketing resources to develop a lead generation campaing 
to identify new CPM opportunities.
- Become an expert in the desktop security space with indepth knowledge of the 
competition and their strengths and weeaknesses
- Help train existing partners on CPM in conjunction with Channel Sales 
Specialist 
- Recruit new resellers with expertise in desktop solutions.
- Manage prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory.  Identify and 
help close sales opportunities in the territory.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
1.      Education: College degree in business desirable, equal professional 
experience acceptable. 
2.      Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales, special 
consideration given to Desktop Security experience
3.      Team Skills: Proven track record working within team environment to 
reach sales goals
4.      Communication Skills:
- Strong sales presentation skills, has the ability to influence and impact an 
audience.
- Excellent understanding and execution of formal sales training techniques, 
such as, Solution Selling.
- Participates in individual, group and department meetings in a manner that 
allows for the exchange of information.
5.      Personal Skills:
- Presents a professional image inside and outside of the organization.  
- Consistently meets commitments made to the company and associates.
- Persistently demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the 
company, the work, the vision and the people.
- Consistently meets or exceeds goals and financial performance targets.
- Solicits input and feedback from inside and outside the organization on ways 
to continually improve.
