Position: Security Consultant
Location: Cupertino, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 05/25/2005
StrongAuth, Inc., a Cupertino, California based company is seeking a
technologist to help it deliver its innovative Identity Management and
Compliance Management solutions to its customers.
The job involves:
- Analyzing customers' Identity Management requirements
- Understanding complex legacy, and web application infrastructures
- Building Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) as the underpinnings of
sophisticated Identity Management solutions
- Operating a multi-platform PKI environment to support business applications
- Implementing PKI-based file- and disk-encryption solutions
- Writing reports on engagements performed for customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS

StrongAuth's optimal candidate will:
- be energetic and very enthusiastic about diving deep into new technologies
rapidly
- have graduated with an Undergraduate degree (in any field) within the last 10
years
- have 4-5 years experience in UNIX/Linux Systems Administration and at least 1
year of Windows Systems Administration
- have competent experience in hardening computers and security technologies
such as SSH, Firewalls, Tripwire, etc.
- have good working knowledge of LDAP
- have good working knowledge of the WWW environment
- have a reasonable understanding of public-key cryptography
- be willing to travel at least 50-60% of the time
- be based in the Silicon Valley area of the US
- be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder
