Position: Manager, Information Security
Location: Haywards Heath, , GB
Type: Permanent F/T

Prominent financial services organisation with global reach and strong brand
name are recruiting within their Information Security department. The company
are at the cutting edge of their market and have the ability to adapt to
changes to stay competitive.
The role requires knowledge of management, risk, audit and compliance within
the information security arena. You will be responsible for, and provide a
focal point for, assessing the level of compliance and risk, in relation to
information security, within specific business units. Experience within a
Computer Auditing function and knowledge of IT Security Audit will be a
distinct advantage.
·Responsible for championing the cause and increasing awareness of risk
management across the operations division
·Attending divisional meetings and being actively involved in the debate
of how to improve controls and raise awareness of risk
·Responsible for keeping up to date with changes in regulations and
practices
·Serve as a focal point for the development of written policies and
procedures across the division
·Pro-actively identify any potential risks or weaknesses and take steps
to make sure these are addressed
·Liase with head office in the USA to make sure that best practices are
adhered to and rolled out across the global organisation
·Drive forward a self-audit programme – make sure audits are
carried out and system is maintained
Location: Cheshire/Greater Manchester
Salary range: £31-37,000
·40-hour week
·Up to 15% bonus each year dependent on a combination of personal and
business performance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
·Working knowledge of IT Security and Information Technology
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
·At least two years experience of Computer Auditing
·Audit or IT Security qualification
·Experience of legal, regulatory and compliance issues in the UK
Financial Services/IT Industry
·Degree educated
