Corporate Sales Representative

We are searching for a Corporate Sales Representative to join our Corporate 
Sales Team located in Houston who has a demonstrated track record of successes 
in selling enterprise level Software. At NetIQ, the Corporate Sales 
Representative (CSR) will sell the Systems and Security and Management 
products, services and support to new and existing customers from a specific 
geographic area. The CSR will:

Generate business revenues from new and existing customers from a specific 
geographic area 
Develop new and extend existing business relationships with selected regional 
partner organizations including Microsoft, independent representatives 
(non-employees), resellers, distributors, or agents 
Cooperate with other sales channels to maximize revenue generated from 
geographic territory 
Maintain a good level of service and support with existing customers 
Provide weekly verbal and written reports, opportunities and forecasted closure 
of deals 
Exercise judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine 
appropriate action 
Possess thorough knowledge of company and products/services 
Be able to present and sell our solutions to all levels within the organization 
Send direct mail marketing/sales literature to prospective clients 
Qualify and follow up with sales leads



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Successfully managed a $1M territory with average deal sizes ranging from $100k 
Proven track record of acheiving quota and being paid for those results 
Have knowledge of Windows NT/2000 environments 
Familiarity with Security, Systems Management and Networking software products 
and markets 
Knowledge of Microsoft applications - Word/Excel/Outlook/etc. 
Have a proven track record meeting and exceeding revenue quota in an inside 
sales role 
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills 
Team player with a positive attitude 
Detail and results oriented 
College Degree or equivalent experience 
Demonstrate a high-level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain 
corporate and personal goal
