Position: Certification & Accreditation Engineer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Position:
NIAP Certification Engineer: Work as part of a team to achieve National
Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) certification for ISS products within
schedule and budget.
Responsibilities:
NIAP Certification Engineer will be responsible for technical aspects of NIAP
certifications:
- Review NIAP Protection Profiles in the context of current ISS requirements
documents and product offerings
- Interface with Product Management to bridge the gaps between Protection
Profiles and ISS products
- Document ISS Product Security Targets.
- Review and document functional specification and design documents to meet
NIAP standards.

Qualifications:
Requirements-Minimum
- Have a passion for high quality standards with attention to detail
- Be an enthusiastic team player with ability to collaborate
- Must have strong work ethics, be a quick learner and self-starter
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be client / customer orientated.:
- Understanding of basic network services, IDP/IPS, AV, FW, vulnerabilities and
attacks is a requirement
- 5+ years relevant work experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good understanding of network protocol concepts at all layers preferred
- C++ and object oriented experience preferred
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering or related field
Requirements-Ideal:
- Experience of NIAP certifications including exposure to Protection Profiles
- Experience authoring Security Targets
- Experience in the Federal sector including DOD.
- Knowledge of NIST and FIPS Standards
