Position: Security Engineer

VOICE/DATA & SECURITY NETWORKING PRO

This group will be needing the knowledge of a strong Senior Voice and Data
Engineer. We have a 2 page description we can send to those who fit ALL of the
requirements below. Incredible benefits, pay and company!
We need a STAR who knows their stuff inside and out and has a record of success
and working great with teams and internal customers. This is not an external
consulting position but do have internal customers.
What will you be doing?
You will be the guru and "go to" person for for voice and data
resolution to problems and also working with the integration and system design.
Provide your valuable input and recommendations.
You will also be responsible for the LAN and WAN infrastructure.
You will also have the opportunity to research and design new network related
initiatives.
You will develop documentation for the network and policies/procedures and
configuration information.
Project management will be key as you will have to track and report on project
progress and issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

What do you need to get an interview and to show what you know?
YOU MUST BE LOCAL.Sorry no relocations.
Bachelors Degree in some IT related field. They won't waver on this.
Some type of certification.
Installation and configuration of routers, switches, bridges, gateways an hubs
and the assoicated HW and SW.
STRONG LAN/WAN experience to include ethernet, ATM, HDLC, Frame Relay and ISDN
based circuits.
A great documentor.
Procedule manual creation experience.
TCP/IP and relating protocols (the OSI network model).
Troubleshooting skills and ability to use diagnostic tools.
CISCO IOS a HUGE PLUS.
Project Management skills.
