In a highly networked global company like our client the security, integrity
and availability of information systems is of vital importance. As part of our
client's IT organisation, Information Security is a central function which
assists the business units and regions to manage their risks. The Lead IT
Security Risk Manager is the principal actor in the relationship with the
Exploration and Production (E&P) businesses or “ segments” globally
The IT Security Risk Manager for E&P drives the global management of IT risks
relating to E&P applications and business processes (including process control
systems) and is accountable for actions to ensure E&P compliance with
regulatory, legislative and HSE requirements relating to IT security.
The Lead IT Security Risk Manager is supported by IT Security Risk Consultants.
The Duties are:
· Manage the provision of IT security consultancy to E&P and act as the
security ‘ gatekeeper’ within our client’ s project management
process, Capital Value Process (CVP), during the lifetime of digital projects.
· Manage the provision of security review resource to modern and legacy
applications and systems in E&P as directed, and act as the IT Security
sign-off on follow-up remedial work.
· Adopt the following compliance components into project engagement
cycles
o Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
o Privacy / Data Protection
o Sarbanes-Oxley
· Provide active input to Digital Security knowledge capture and re-use
process
o Input of all reviews within 3 months of adoption of the system
o Thereafter populate with appropriate material within two weeks of its
production.
· Implement a process to review all high risk existing systems and new
digital projects in E&P in order to assess and manage associated digital
security risks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
· Minimum 3 years experience managing risk and control issues in a
GLOBAL systems environment
· Broad understanding of current IT technology and security risk issues
· Experience of IT systems in an Oil and Gas Exploration and Production
environment
· Strong project management skills
· Excellent people networking and negotiating skills
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
· Able to coordinate and prioritise multiple activities
· Willing and able to travel in US as required.
Desirable Criteria
· Experience of managing IT applications and project processes
· CISM, CISSP or CISA accredited
· In depth understanding of Capital Value Processes
