Will provide strategic marketing direction for a range of security solutions 
targeted at small/medium businesses through large enterprises. Will be 
responsible for developing and directing go-to market activity to achieve 
planned business objectives and growth with a key emphasis on routes-to-market 
optimization and strategy. Working with local marketing teams around the world, 
s/he will The Senior Product Marketing Manager will provide strategic marketing 
direction for range of System Security (desktop/server) solutions targeted 
small/medium businesses through large Enterprises. They will be responsible for 
developing and directing go-to-market activity to achieve planned business 
objectives and growth with a key emphasis on routes-to-market optimization and 
strategy. Working with local marketing teams around the world, s/he will 
develop tools and training to equip the sales force, as well as coach/advise 
the regional marketing teams in creating effective demand generation p
 rograms. S/He will be responsible for driving marketing strategy across the 
regions and heading marketing initiatives for his/her products. S/he will act 
as primary interface between the product team and sales/customers, and will be 
the internal evangelist and product expert.  Specific projects will include: 
product positioning and messaging  product evangelism to customers, prospects, 
journalist and analysts  the coordination of the go-to-market launch strategy, 
pricing strategy  product branding, all product content and collateral, 
competitive positioning  sales training and education.  This person should be 
reasonably technical and have experience in system/host security and systems 
management to teach sales professionals how to sell solutions, as well as 
engage directly with customers in pre-sales calls. They will develop strong 
relationships and work closely with Product Management and Engineering.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum eight to twelve years experience in 
software/high-tech product marketing for global organization 
Strong requirements for experience in Internet security specifically host and 
desktop security 
Strong requirements for experience in networking, security management 
solutions/tools or system management tools 
Experience working across all key market segments from small businesses to 
large enterprises is highly desired
Strong experience at strategizing and capitalizing on all routes-to-market 
including traditional channel, two tier distribution, Telco's, ISP's, online 
e-commerce & OEM providers
Experience working at strategic level
Ability to travel frequently
Strong presentation skills to large audiences (200+ people)
Strong writing skills and experience

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: 
MBA preferred
Ability to self-start, determining own direction to meet business objectives
Passion for customer service
Excellent presentation skills
Extremely strong communication skills
