Position: Developer
Location: New York City, New York, US

Our client, a major financial institution located in Midtown Manhattan, NYC is
seeking an
Microsoft Exchange Systems Administrator.
This position will be responsible for for all aspects of Systems
Administration, Technical support
of the Exchange environment, as well as Management of Windows Servers and if
possible, Lotus
Notes Support Services.
Main Responsibilities:
_ Support firmwide enterprise email infrastructure consisting of Exchange
email applications,
Lotus Notes, email gateways and interconnects.
_ Support Windows server infrastructure, which include multiple versions.
Windows NT,
Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 operating systems.
_ Configuring and installing all required hardware and software based on
Microsoft
requirements.
_ Administer the performance and daily operations of the various network
systems to assure
access and maximum performance.
_ Install network hardware and software.
_ Preparation of documentation for systems.
_ Support infrastructure and technology requirements for the IT
Application Development
Groups.
_ Manage activities related to daily systems administration and operation
of Windows Servers
and Workstations in concert with other IT Infrastructure groups for all
business units and
locations.
Required Skills:
5-7 years Exchange 5.5/2000 experience at an engineering level should have
worked in an
Exchange environment exceeding 1,000 users or multiple Exchange organization
environments.
Should we include core services, message transfer agents, and enterprise
connectors (such as
Internet and X.400)
Lotus Notes 5.5/6 experience including an understanding of architecture.
5+ years engineering servers in a Windows environment experienced with Active
Directory,
SMTP mail flow, Anti-Virus Backups Server Hardware OWA Content Filtering
Blackberry and
other email related systems.
* Microsoft Outlook, including E-Mail and Calendar functions.
* NT 4.0/2000/2003 (Workstation & Server) experience.
Microsoft certifications such as MCSE helpful
Knowledge of Information Security concepts important.
