Position: Security Consultant
Location: Houston, Texas, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 04/29/2005
Our client is a global energy group with brands known in every country
worldwide. Their products include gas, oil, lubricants, shipping, solar and
renewable power, roadside assistance & petrochemicals to name but a few.
In a highly networked global company the integrity of information systems is of
vital importance. As part of our client’ s ICT organisation, Security is
accountable for assessing & mitigating internal and external threats. You will:
Provide security expertise to all areas of the group and its IT organisation
in production engineering, projects & security incident management. Individual
Security Risk Management consultants will specialise in specific areas.
Provide IT security expertise to monitor compliance on business critical
assets & major projects.
Providing IT security design input & engagement throughout project lifecycles.
Input to standards development & technology architectures.
Provide appropriate third level security expertise for production of Security
systems and tools.
Provide expertise in support of security incident management as directed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
· Minimum 4-5 years experience in IT security in a global blue
chip organisation.
· In depth understanding of IT security technology and processes
· Strong project management skills
· Strong networking and negotiating skills
· In depth understanding of Capital Value Processes
· You must be CISM, CISSP or CISA accredited
· Willing and able to travel globally as required..
