Position: Security Consultant
Location: London, , GB
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 04/28/2005
We are looking for a Senior IT-Audit Professional with strong experience in IT
Security and assessments.
This individual will be responsible for undertaking pre-implementation, and
production application and infrastructure and infrastructure/applications
integration reviews. The role will include participation in technology
consulting assignments and ad hoc project work. Ideally, the candidate should
have an IT infrastructure or security background with detailed technical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, establish effective
business relationships, influence others, conduct interviews and/or meetings,
make presentations.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of internal
controls over key IT risks, identify significant exposures, analyse
transactions and other management information and detect changes in key risks
and/or control effectiveness.
• Possess detailed technical skills in the following:
o Windows platform design and technologies (e.g. Active Directory, Group
Policy).
o Network security design and technologies (firewalls, routers, e.g.
FW-1, PIX, CISCO IOS).
• Possess detailed technical skills in some of the following:
o Application security (authentication, authorization, session
management).
o UNIX security.
o Penetration testing.
o Security processes (vulnerability/patch management, data
classification).

Ideally I think this role would suite a candidate with good technical skills -
good exposure/involvement with security and an interest in working in a global
team, engaging with senior business management and applying their technical
skills to analyse/review the risks of technical initiatives.
