Head of IT Security/ Security Practice
The Role: Our client is actively seeking a UK Security leader to work within
their GIS (Global Infrastructure Services) division which is a business
critical area of focus comprising of the services, desktop, mobile systems,
networks and related services. You will act as a Security leader with
approximately 10 direct reports and will have experience in multiple projects
and establish engagements to ensure profitable revenue growth in the range of
£20-50M depending on the business requirements. You will have previous
experience of delivering security related services, typically with multi-year
contracts, multi subcontractors. The role will require you to function as an
expert of industry knowledge in at least two security sub-segments (e.g. PKI,
Network) with thorough knowledge of industry best practices and methods such as
BS7799
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
· You must have at least 5 years IT security experience within a
'CONSULTANCY' environment.
·Our client is looking for applicants who are familiar with industry
best practices and methodologies such as risk mitigation/management, change
control and contract management along with the ability to develop and manage
partners (both technology and channel). You will be experienced with advocacy
and influence in these areas by personal presentations at the Senior Manager /
Director Level.
·You will have excellent client facing skills up to the CEO/CIO level
and ideally will have effectively worked jointly with other stakeholders and
the marketing organization to plan accounts, identify new opportunities.
Direct management of a team of people is also essential, including their
training, development, performance and career path for at least 20-50
employees. Indirectly manage by influence larger groups.
·You will be required to travel to client sites across the UK.
