Position: CHECK Team Leader
Location: London, , GB
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 04/29/2005
Purpose:
To perform Vulnerability and Attack & Penetration assessment in Internet,
Intranet and Wireless environments. Perform discovery and scanning for open
ports and services. Apply exploits to gain access and expand as appropriate.
This is to join a Global Professional Services organisation with wide ranging
industry, business and technology experience delivering state-of-the-art
security profiling and attack and penetration services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Accountabilities:
• Plan, control and deliver assignments and drafts deliverables
• Review and take responsibility for successful delivery of assignment
fieldwork
• Participate in delivery of proposals to client
• Execute primary on-site client liaison and manage client expectations
• Use knowledge resources effectively to enhance service delivery and
contribute to knowledge bases
• Proactively liaise with peers, build strong internal relationships and
share knowledge
Experience/Qualifications:
• CESG Check team leader
• Formal IT and programming training, such as Bachelors or Master’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
Key technical skills:
• Good understanding of information security management and information
systems governance
• Knowledge of operating system security (eg UNIX, Windows NT)
• Solid understanding of source code review from a security perspective
(Java, C++)
Useful technical skills:
• Manual Attack & Penetration testing experience
• Experience of developing customer scripts or programmes to carry out
port scanning and vulnerability identification
• Application development
Personal Qualities:
• Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
• Solid project management skills with emphasis on achieving results
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Good communications skills with the ability to articulate complex IT
concepts and issues in a business context and to a wide audience including
senior client management
• Willingness to travel
