Position:       Security Product Marketing Manager
Location:       Santa Clara, California, US
Type:           Permanent P/T

&#61623  Conduct market research and gather market intelligence as well as 
customer requirements 
&#61623  Author product collateral including business case, datasheets,  
website content, white papers 
&#61623  Deliver competitive analysis for varying audience including  sales, 
SE, customers and partners 
&#61623  Develop customer case studies, product business case & TCO/ROI  
analysis 
&#61623  Develop and deliver product training sales, SE and partner  training 
&#61623  Participate in strategic customer engagements
&#61623  Represent company in public forums such as trade shows, events,  
speaking engagements etc. 
&#61623  Offer ongoing product support to field sales and channel  partners 
&#61623  Interface with product management and engineering organization



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
&#61623  Must have at least 3-4 years of prior product marketing  experience
&#61623  Prior experience with networking / security appliance vendor or  with 
telco / carriers highly desired
&#61623  Product management or marketing experience supporting firewall,  
anti-virus, IDS/IPS products or services a big plus
&#61623  Strong familiarity and with networking and security concepts  such as 
routing, switching, network and system security
&#61623  Prior sales/systems engineering experience in recommending / selling / 
building security solutions would be plus
