Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 04/21/2005
Design next-generation routing and security devices. Design, develop, and
maintain security software, including control and forwarding features such as
fast and slow path stateful services and high availability. Develop kernel
networking, interface abstraction, and application networking software.
Requires B.A., B.S., M.A., or M.S., in Computer Science, and 8-10 years of
related experience. Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP networking essentials,
forwarding architectures, and systems programming required. Working knowledge
of security software such as stateful firewalls, VPNs, and IDP required. Strong
C, system design, and debugging skills required. FreeBSD and RTOS experience is
a strong plus.
