Position:       Security Product Manager
Location:       Sunnyvale, California, US
Type:           Permanent F/T

Provide security expertise to engineering. Promote solid security practices in 
the design of our networking products. Perform both whitebox and blackbox 
testing. Assist marketing and engineering with security features. Respond to 
potential security vulnerabilities discovered either internally or externally.

Requires expertise in general network security, vulnerabilities, common network 
protocols, and customer network configurations. Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP 
and other networking and application protocols required. Strong C network 
programming skills required. Ability to write tools to illustrate 
vulnerabilities and to perform code audits required. Strong security background 
required, including familiarity with a wide range of security concepts and best 
practices including, but not limited to, privacy, authentication, 
authorization, auditing, nonrepudiation, and trust models. Familiarity with a 
wide range of security concepts, protocols, and devices such as firewalls, 
intrusion detection systems, VPNs, antivirus products, and PGP required. 
Ability to leverage your knowledge to test and audit our products for potential 
security vulnerabilities required. Must be well organized and able to 
prioritize multiple tasks according to severity. C++ and Java skills are a 
strong plus. Exp
 erience developing security-related software is a strong plus. Ability to work 
well as part of a team and as an individual contributor without constant 
supervision required. Must be dependable and able to handle multiple projects 
at the same time. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills 
required.
