Location:       Mission Viejo, California, US
Type:           Permanent F/T

Local candidates only - authorized to work in the United States

        Writes and maintains security software   user documentation in a 
multi-writer environment
&#149;  Analyzes user tasks & processes 
&#149;  Identifies user experience issues and proposes solutions 
&#149;  Proposes documentation solutions for user issues
&#149;  Helps identify and report on software bugs found during the development 
process
&#149;  Collects competitive data to identify issues and drive solutions
&#149;  Organizes documentation content and functionality
&#149;  Collaborates with marketing, development, QA and management teams to 
identify documentation needs
&#149;  Deliver documentation on time
        


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
&#149;  Strong technical writing background and organizational skills
&#149;  Proven experience in writing both online help files and written 
software documentation
&#149;  Excellent communication skills
&#149;  Expert understanding of MS Word
&#149;  Good understanding of graphic tools for capturing screenshots and 
converting files between different graphic formats
&#149;  Good understanding of Adobe FrameMaker
&#149;  Familiarity with current usability practices
&#149;  Must be flexible and teachable: must be able to learn to use new 
writing tools and methods
&#149;  Demonstrated pride of ownership in publication projects
&#149;  Flexible, QA savvy, user focused, and productive
