Position: Security Auditor
Location: New York, New York, US

Group Health Incorporated (GHI) is a statewide, not-for-profit insurer serving
New Yorkers since 1937. GHI and its wholly-owned subsidiary, GHI HMO, provide
health coverage and administrative services to more than 2.6 million
individuals, offering a variety of insurance options and
administrative-services-only arrangements.
As a key member of our Government Programs staff, you will handle tactical
issues relating to the migration of Medicare Part B to a new standard system.
This includes conducting technical risk assessments, security audits and access
control reviews recommending corrective actions and preparing and submitting
proposals for security enhancements and/or new security software. In addition,
you will support the Systems Security Administrator with various Government
Programs initiatives such as contingency planning, contractor self-assessment,
security awareness training and vendor compliance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Business or related field (or equivalent) and at least three years of related
experience with network engineering and various operating systems(mainframe,
LAN/WAN, web, data networks, and Windows 2000). Familiarity with internal
controls, security architecture, firewalls, penetration testing and information
security principles is essential, while specialized knowledge of mainframe
security products and healthcare experience in a security role are preferred.
Successful candidate should also possess strong oral and written communication
skills and hold/be pursuing Information Security Certification (CISSP, GIAC.
Cisco, etc.).
