Position: Technology Risk Consultant
Location: London, , GB
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 03/31/2005
The purpose of the Business Security Advisor role is principally to improve the
security position of the business areas to which they are assigned. This will
be achieved through the exercise of business-orientated security consultancy
and the tailoring of a core security management strategy to meet both the needs
of the individual businesses and the Group.
In addition to the provision of strategic direction for information security
management, the role also provides operational support for the management of
IT-related risk through the delivery of information security advice, guidance
and the assessment and monitoring of the security position of the business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
• Good awareness of information security related legislation for the
legal jurisdictions in which the division operates
• Good awareness of information security related regulatory requirements
for the legal jurisdictions in which the division operates
• Strong knowledge of technical security requirements relating to systems
& platforms
• Expert understanding of all aspects of information security principles,
policy and its application in business and technology areas (5-7 years
experience)
• Expert understanding of risk analysis and risk management techniques
• Experience in presenting to and working with senior business staff
• Strong experience in a customer facing / service delivery role
• Self starter with the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
