Position: Security Product Marketing Manager
Location: Aliso Viejo, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Job Description:
·Lead the development of product go-to-market plans, value propositions
and positioning, working in co-operation with Product Management leads.
·Work with sales teams to support development of market strategies and
quarterly selling campaigns for product portfolio.
·Responsible for the development of key selling collateral and messages,
including business presentations, sales guides, internal and external web site
communication/updates, and demos.
·Attend customer visits to build market and customer knowledge. Assist
in RFP responses as required.
·Works with Engineering and Sales to develop new products or enhance
existing products.
·Develop specific marketing plans and activities for specific products
to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive
arena.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

·BA, BS required, MBA highly desirable
·5-7 years of experience in product marketing or product management with
responsibility for forecasting, market sizing and budgeting.
·3-4 years of experience in network security field.
·Creative approach to defining and positioning products in increasingly
competitive category.
·Good technical knowledge in some or all of the following areas:
intrusion prevention, network and software firewalls, vulnerability assessment
and remediation, patch management, policy enforcement and compliance.
·Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
·Rigorous approach to market and competitive analysis, with demonstrated
ability to think laterally.
·Expert communication (written, verbal) and time management skills.
·A strong sense of integrity and accountability are critical, along with
the ability to be highly adaptable and resilient. Views change as an
opportunity.
