Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Boca Raton, Florida, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 04/15/2005
Our client, a fortune 500 company located in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a
Security Analyst:
Coordinates and communicates with support teams to deploy critical security and
non-critical patches. Evaluates, determines patch rollout guidelines and
strategies. Designs, implements and maintains patch management methodology and
procedures. Reviews and evaluates daily security patch reports. Investigates
and resolves security incidents. Develops and provides monthly security risk
assessment metrics. Independently conducts information security analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training. Minimum of five years experience in
Information Security field within a large corporate, multi-location,
multi-platform, complex environment. Strong written and verbal communication
skills. Experience in the areas of mainframe, LAN/WAN, Windows 98, NT,
2000,XP, desktop and server, Solaris 8.x, Linux, MAC OS, OS/390, RACF and
AS/400 platforms. Strong experience in understanding risk assessment related
to patches. Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers, Intrusion Detection Systems and related
technologies
Other Information
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage Firewalls, Content Filters, Proxy and DNS. Implement projects which
monitor and secure an enterprise network from internal and external intrusions.
Additional Requirements:
Three years experience with HA CheckPoint Firewall-1 NG and NG-AI (FP4) on
Nokia IPSO and/or SecurePlatform.
Experience with Provider-1 firewall management tools.
In-depth understanding and practical experience of core network technologies
such as TCP/IP, IP Routing and DNS.
Firewall access control evasion concepts and techniques.
Working knowledge of assorted scripting languages: Perl, PHP, Python and Bourne
Shell.
Administrative experience in Linux and *BSD environments.
Experience with WebSense and SurfControl web content filtering.
Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) a plus.
CISSP certification a plus.
