Position: Application Security Architect
Location: Kansas City, Missouri, US
Type: Permanent F/T

FishNet Security, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking an
Application Security Consultant, as a part of our Web Application Security
practice. The FishNet Security Assessment Team has seen explosive growth - and
engages ethical, high energy, subject matter experts to provide professional
and comprehensive information security assessment, consultation and response
services.
This position will involve, but is not limited to the following tasks:
--Manual and automated application code review
--Database design, development and integration with Web sites
--Evaluate and validate potential application layer risk factors
--Consult, train clients in secure code development and architecture
--Present methodology, reports to technical and management clients
--Document testing results in written form
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidates should have expert level experience in the following areas,
minimum:
--Applications Development
Web development ASP, .NET, HTML, Java...
Database SQL, Oracle
Web services XML, SOAP
--Network Architecture, as related to application development and deployment
Knowledge of presentation, business logic, data storage tiers in network
architecture
--Application and Network Security
Web application security best practices
Web application vulnerability landscape and risk mitigation
Security testing tools and methodologies
--Communication
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to describe technical risk from a business case perspective
