Source Control Manager
Webroot Software, a leader in Internet Security software, is currently seeking
an experienced Source Control Manager to join our team. As a Source Control
Manager with Webroot Software Inc. you will be responsible for releasing and
configuring application code into QE and Production environments. The ideal
candidate will have experience with enterprise as well as consumer software.
This position is located in our World Headquarters in Boulder, CO.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with project managers, system administrators, and development
teams during the
development, test, and launch phases of the software development life cycle
to configure and release
application/web site code into QA and Production environments.
* Perform version control and labeling of the build and all supporting
documentation.
* Executing the deployment process on components checked out from version
control only.
* Track application configuration through Development, QA, and Production
environments.
* Manage release schedules and coordinate releases for multiple applications in
Windows, environments.
* Manage Surround SCM source code control system.
* Manage scheduled jobs using Job deployment tool.
* Attend change control meetings and initiate follow-up actions when
appropriate.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives related to the Enterprise and
Consume Release
Management process.
* Engage applications not previously under Release Management, and establish
appropriate release
processes for such applications.
