Position: Developer
Location: Boulder, Colorado, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Anti-Virus Developer
Webroot is currently seeking a developer with an Anti-Virus (A/V) background.
This position will focus on analysis of potentially malicious code and
developing algorithms to detect and remove this code.
Skill & Knowledge Requirements:
* Knowledge of Windows Internals
* X86 Assembly Skills
* Binary Analysis Background
* Familiarity with Antivirus Scanning Engine architecture
* Experience with debugging tools (e.g. IDA Pro, SoftICE)
* An adaptive nature
Preferred Skills (but not required):
* Experience with commercial antivirus products helpful (e.g. - Symantec's
Norton / McAfee)
* Experience writing consumer security/privacy products
* Knowledge of security in a Windows environment (e.g. Encryption, admin
rights)
* MS SQL Server experience
* MySQL experience
* BS in CS or related field
* Basic networking experience
