Position: Security Architect
Location: London, , GB
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 04/03/2005
This Consultancy urgently require a Principle Consultant to advise key Clients
at Board level on their IT Strategy, focussing primarily on Information
Security and Architecture.
Accountabilities:
Operational
• Manages development and delivery of strategic proposals, producing a
high quality written product
• Develops business both within existing and target client accounts
through effective internal and external networks
• Effectively resources and manages delivery of assignments to time and
budget
• Efficiently reviews client deliverables for quality and technical
accuracy
Client
• Works with key client stakeholders to develops and deliver strategic
advice, service and value charters
• Provides quality assurance and proactively monitors and manages risk
• Addresses complex technical points with senior client representatives
from both IS and business
• Efficiently manages multiple concurrent assignments
• Offers effective and pragmatic solutions to client issues
People
• Manages assignment teams including ‘deep’ technical resources
• Has involvement in the counselling, training and recruitment processes,
as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• At least eight years' successful strategic advisory experience within an
IS environment. Must include experience of the full project lifecycle from
initial business generation through planning to benefits realisation
• Robust presentation and professionalism in the face of challenge
• Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Strong client management skills: with the ability to build and develop
networks and relationships with both external and internal contacts, expecially
at C level
• Proven track record of relationship development and winning new business
• Strong negotiation and communication skills at all levels
• Strong delivery skills and results orientation
• Works well with integrators/third party suppliers
• Experience of report delivery at a senior level
• Qualification in Prince2 or equivalent experience
Desirable:
• Hands on Programme Management experience
• Experience of BCP, outsourcing contracts Data Centre reviews – ERP
Implementation etc,
• Management and/or review of third parties
