Position: Security Engineer
Location: Miami, Florida, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 03/27/2005
SYSTEMS SECURITY & COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST responsible for systems security
standards, security administration, patch management, bulnerability management,
I/S policy and procedure documentation and policy conformance
efforts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Performs security administration such as management of login system,
modification of security, and documentation of efforts.
*Implements and oversees the operation of intrusion detection and prevention
systems.
*Reviews system logs for unusual activity and performs incident management.
*Manages patch and vulnerability issues such as assessment and scheduling of
remediation activities including implementation and operation of patch and
vulnerability management system.
*Maintains documentation relating to security and I/S policy and procedures.
*Maintains I/S business continuity plan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology or in a related field
EXPERIENCE
*Five to seven years hands-on experience securing large multi-site
international organizations.
*Background in implementing and maintaining
firewalls, intrusion detection systems and patch management solutions.
