Position: Sr. Product Manager

Brief Job Description:
Gravity Technologies is searching for a Product Manager familiar with
Enterprise and SMB markets to help drive the future of its next generation
security applications. The position will work directly with Product Development
to provide strategic leadership for enabling technologies in secure network
communications. The qualified individual will work with prospects, customers,
3rd party providers, sales, and marketing personnel to develop technology
requirements for future releases of the product, and collaborating with
development teams to turn those requirements into reality through innovative
software designs.
Professional Responsibilities:
* Conduct primary market research and creatively examine upcoming trends to
appropriately employ technologies and take advantage of market conditions
* Define requirements and use cases, and assist in scoping of requirements
* Perform in-depth customer reviews to understand their business needs and
validate requirements
* Negotiate with engineering and marketing teams to assemble a detailed product
deliverable schedule and manage those deliverables on time and within budget
* Partner with Marketing, Sales and 3rd parties to define pricing and packaging
across target markets
* Support the marketing and sales teams to create marketing collateral and
other sales tools assist in responding to business proposals and support sales
in closing deals
* Participate in the articulation and formulation of strategy for areas of
responsibility
* Present to customers as well as at industry conferences in a global market
environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS

General Requirements:
* 6+ years of product management experience with a leading vendor in the field
* Experience with enterprise IT implementations
* Recent experience with enterprise security products in a product management
or architecture related capacity
* Experience managing hardware products
* Strong knowledge of IP and network routing protocols
* A good knowledge of security protocols and applications (IPSec, X.509, SSL.)
* A good understanding of IETF standards
* Strong project management abilities
* BS in Engineering or Computer Science, MBA preferred
Personal Requirements:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate maturity in dealing with customers and the
ability to marshal a team in support of customer needs. The candidate*s record
must demonstrate initiative, results orientation, customer savvy, and a sense
of humor.
