Position: Developer

Our client is a start-up company located in Silicon Valley and a leading
provider of enterprise-class security solutions for data storage. The Company
provides a suite of products designed to add scalable, high-performance, strong
encryption and authentication services that enable organizations to readily
achieve storage data confidentiality in a variety of online, nearline and
offline storage environments. The resulting solution lowers the cost of
protecting highly accessible, distributed storage infrastructures, while also
enabling greater efficiencies for the management of storage capacity,
consolidation, continuity and compliance. The engineering team is seeking to
hire a Security Developer to add to their team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
5-10 years experience in developing server products in C on UNIX.
Experienced in product development using SSL, and TLS.
Experience in socket level network programming and implementing and protocol
implementations.
Detailed understanding of IP-SEC including IKE, ISAKMP, ESP, SA, SPI and
applications for VPNs with experience in implementation a plus.
Detailed understanding of SSL, OpenSSL and TLS underlying technologies.
Understanding of symmetric encryption algorithms including DES (in CBC and ECB
mode) and AES.
Experience with PKI and an understanding of the architectures and underlying
technologies.
Understanding of message authentication using HMAC and SHA-1.
Experience in developing FIPS-2 level 3 security products
Linux / NetBSD Unix kernel development experience
Experience using KDB / GDB
Familiarity with appliance clustering architectures
Understanding of DHCAP, PAP , CHAP, LDAP and x.500
Windows development experience
