Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Denver , Colorado, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Our client is seeking a Solutions Sales Engineer for a Pre-Sales role within
its Managed Services team.The Solutions Engineer will provide the sales team
and customer base with technical recommendations and guidance throughout the
sales process.You will be working with and supporting 3-6 sales reps in your
geographic region, participating in client meetings where you will gain an
understanding of the prospective client's requirements and engineer a solution
with the appropriate hardware, software, connectivity and service levels using
technical standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Ideal candidate will have strong business and technical skills and acumen as
well as experience with Managed services and hosting solutions or equivalent.
Technical skills:
-Admininstration or design expertise with windows server, Solaris Server and
Redhat Linux.
-Networking products from Cisco
-Checkpoint Firewalls
-Storage Area networks
-Business continuity
-Security best practices
-SQL Server, Oracle database server
-Knowledge of compliance issues such as Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA ans BS1779
Other skills include excellent communications both oral and written and the
ability to communicate at various levels within the client organization from
the CxO to front line technical contacts.
