The tasks performed within this position include analyzing device and server security configuration, reviewing management processes, recommending improvements based on industry best practices, and presenting findings in a manner acceptable to clients. The Security Consultant is one of NetSPI’s primary technical resources within security assessments. Daily activities include performing host based security assessment and design. The assessment process includes analyzing results, verifying and documenting findings, creating reports based with findings and recommendations, and working with other team members to ensure high quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will be able to write and present reports to clients. Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix server administration and management is required. Enterprise experience with network and server administration tools required. Previous audit or assessment experience is a plus. This position requires a strong basic understanding of technology, enterprise security, and risk management. Strong ethics, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are a must.
