Job Title Description:
Product Manager - SSL
Job Description - External:
As a member of the Security Services Product Marketing team, the successful
candidate will be responsible for managing VeriSign's SSL certificate solutions
for enterprise customers globally. The successful candidate will focus
simultaneously on both outbound product marketing and inbound product
management activities.
Responsibilities:
¿{ Own key business metrics and drive major improvements through new
products and product marketing initiatives
¿{ Develop business cases for new product initiatives
¿{ Develop product marketing content and sales tools
¿{ Lead internal customers to prioritize and define product requirements
¿{ Perform customer segmentation research and analyses
¿{ Develop optimized pricing strategy
¿{ Performing strategic competitive analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Experience - External:
-¿{ 5 or more years of enterprise software/services product
marketing/management experience.
¿{ Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously.
¿{ Ability to define a strategic vision and to articulate that vision to
multiple audiences, including executive management.
¿{ Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate a cross-functional team
that delivers results.
¿{ Experience defining and communicating detailed product/service
requirements.
¿{ Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
¿{ Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of
establishing credibility with key customers, prospects and business partners,
sales, customer support and development.
¿{ Experience direct marketing to enterprise segment a plus.
¿{ Understanding of Internet infrastructure and/or security a plus.
¿{ Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience required.
¿{ MBA preferred.
