Position: Security Engineer
Location: Bay Area, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Do you have a passion for promoting rock solid security practice in product
design? Have you performed this function in a security product company? Do
you believe that when building a mousetrap, the most important thing is that it
catches mice? If so, this bleeding edged security focused company may have the
ideal opportunity for you.
Our client is currently looking for a career minded go-getter to fill the role
of Senior Product Security Engineer. This position is one that is highly
visible and will require a great degree of initiative, independent decision
making, and technical aptitude. This position will be a part of a small but
growing group responsible for product security company wide. Duties entailed
by this position are inclusive of, but not limited to responding to potential
security vulnerabilities, performing code audits, and liaising between
marketing and development in working on feature sets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidates who wish to be considered for this position will meet the following
requirements:
Good knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols in general.
Strong C/C++ network programming skills.
Ability to perform code audits and to write vulnerability discovering tools.
Knowledge of firewalls, IDS’, VPNs , AV products, and PGP.
Candidates coming from Network Security companies and possessing development
experience are strongly encouraged to apply however, all candidates meeting the
