Position: Technology Risk Consultant
Location: Shaumburg, Illinois, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 02/27/2005
My client is a global financial services firm. They are searching for someone
to join there Technology Risk Management team to act as an internal SME and
resource regarding information security solutions and technology risk controls.
Key Targets & Objectives of Role
• Provide subject matter expertise to business units on issues of
Information Security
• Manage the enforcement of corporate and regulatory policies & standards
within the locality.
• Promote awareness of information security policies and best practices
by delivery of staff security awareness campaigns, including staff inductions.
• Provide technology risk management input to local change control
processes and risk assessments
• Review security administration procedures and activities
• Monitor the status of technology risk within the location and deliver
security reports to management accordingly.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of security best practices.
• Assist in the resolution of security related audit issues.
• Manage and investigate local security incidents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

This is a highly demanding position where the candidate will be expected to
deliver services to a number of clients on a daily basis. Experience of
providing operational security management is required, preferably in an
investment banking environment.
This position is a hands-on role and the successful candidate will be expected
to manage their own time. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter with
excellent interpersonal and documentation skills.
The Candidate must have a broad knowledge of Information Security technology
and methodologies, including for.
