Position: Security Engineer
Location: Greenbelt, Maryland, US
Type: Permanent F/T

The Presidio Corporation, a rapidly growing company specializing in information
technology solutions, offers exciting and challenging opportunities.
Headquartered in Greenbelt, Maryland, we are currently recruiting for 5-8
Certified Senior and or Mid Level Security Network Engineers/Analysts for the
Washington/Baltimore Metropolitan area.
The listings below represent multiple positions, therefore experience with any
one of the listings is sufficient:
1. Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam (AV/AS)-Ensure that all
workstations/laptops/servers have AV/AS solutions installed and are properly
working. This includes updating with the latest definitions and updates, as
they become available.
2. Intrusion Detection (ID)-Monitor, identify, and provide reports, etc
regarding any compromising activity to management. Will assess intrusion risks,
to include but not limited to: risk analysis, solutions to risk factors, and
mitigation strategies.
3. Information System Security (ISS)-Perform system, server, and
workstation audits. Perform blacklight check on monitors (to be destroyed).
Perform site and user inspections for security policy compliance. Eradicate
malicious codes and viruses on desktops/laptops. Assist in writing, review and
coordination of System Security Accreditation Agreements.
4. Perimeter Defense (PD)-Initiate and collaborate data fusion of FW
incidents and event logging with the centralized IDS and other relevant
security areas. Operate and maintain unclassified dial-in, RAS, and VPN systems
passwords, accounts and account activity metrics on a daily basis.
5. Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-Manage and monitor all PKI-related SW
and HW on equipment by maintaining a tracking database (authentication
services). Ensure all PKI workstations are IAVA compliant. Maintain, operate,
manage, and develop PKI policies, documents, and requirements for
implementation.
6. Vulnerability Assessment (VA)-Maintain IAVA patch database and
compliance reports. Track identified vulnerabilities and discrepancies,
coordinate response, and make corrective actions to ensure vulnerabilities are
eliminated and discrepancies are resolved.
