Description: The Analyst, Security, conducts primary and secondary research in support of Forrester Research products. The Analyst will write, speak, and advise clients by analyzing security industry trends, understanding the business impact of the risks and threats that Forrester’s clients face, evaluating security technology and service providers, providing design and implementation best practices, and helping clients organize and plan for the future of security. Thus, the Analyst must maintain current knowledge of relevant vendors, service providers, software, and hardware. Responsibilities: Analysts work as part of small, high-performance teams and collaborate with team members in all aspects of the job. The Analyst, Security will: • Maintain a current level of expertise in the market. He or she must be able to understand and analyze the strategy, positioning, and prospects of relevant vendors. A technical degree is also preferred. Security certifications such as the CISSP or CISA are desirable but not required. • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and computer skills.
