Position: Security Architect
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 02/25/2005
We are searching for a Security Policy Specialist to help design and implement
policies for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the area of
Informations Sharing and Collaboration (ISC). It is essential that you have
hands-on experience implementing policies either for the government or the
private sector and understand how to do this within the context of Information
Sharing and Collaboration the information has to be tagged appropriately for
the different parties to have access to it, and the access is limited depending
on the recipient (i.e. policy enforcement).
From this interpretation the Securtiy Specialist will develop and execute
clear DHS policy that lays the ground rules for sharing information internal
and external to the Agency. The Specialist will evaluate Management Processes
and Systems from policy, implementation and execution perspectives. Additional
responsibilities include assessing related policies, standard operating
procedures, business plans, directives, governance and technology roadmaps.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Security policy implementation experience.
* Able to articulate policy be examining federal guidlines.
* Able to work in large bureaucracies.
* Able to get security clearance with federal government if required
