Contract Recruiter for Security Business and Technology Unit in Microsoft 
Windows Division
Are you a staffing professional that loves a challenge? Do you want to hire 
talent for one of the most successful business in the world? If so, come join 
the Windows staffing team focused on hiring talent for the Security Business 
and Technology Unit! This technical recruiting position will drive staffing 
strategy and ownership of sourcing initiatives for a range of 
senior/complex/critical technical positions within this very specialized 
technology division of Windows.  This position will also require screening and 
interviewing potential candidates and making next step recommendations.   This 
position will drive sourcing programs to address unique needs and spikes in 
hiring volume and slate development. This position will work with internal 
staffing partners as well as the various product teams, handling direct 
sourcing within budget guidelines to meet the staffing plan for the group. 
Previous recruiting experience with technical positions, ideally in the 
security space, and 
 demonstrable success in client relationship management are required. 

This is a 6 to 12 month contract position based in Redmond, WA, working 40 
hours per week.  Compensation will depend on experience.  Please submit your

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related technical recruiting experience. 
• Deep understanding of talent acquisition and its relationship to talent 
management internally
• Effective strategic thinking, search skills, problem solving, cross 
group collaboration, and oral/written/persuasive communication skills are 
necessary
• Passion for placing technical candidates  significant experience 
identifying, screening and interviewing 
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook)
